Play in Style 2016 – Dual Contest Snow & Skate

What?

Silvaplana will host this years‘ second edition of the Play Engadin Festival. The spring season festival highlight embedded in one of the most beautiful settings in the Swiss Alps will unite sports, music, and arts in an unique event.

The “Play in Style Contest” is aimed to focus on the roots of skate- and snowboarding as well as freestyle skiing – “style matters” in the midsized park and the mini-ramp at 2700 meters.

How?

Each rider will be ranked individually on a combined rating consisting of two park runs on either ski or snowboard and two one minute performances in the mini-ramp.

When?

Contest: 15th and 16th of April

Price-giving: 17th of April

Cost?

CHF 49.00

It includes a Festivalpass for 3 days, and lifttickets for the corvatsch.

Why?

The set-up is as unique as it gets and offers great opportunities to shoot, chill or, party. Our partner That Noise will be bringing in some of the best skaters in Switzerland and not to mention that the winner will take home 500 CHF in cash, 2^nd 300 CHF and the 3^rd 200 CHF. In addition each athlete on the podium gets to choose from either an exclusively designed snowboard, ski or, skatedeck, which will be crafted on the scene.
